When in Rome do as the Romans do. When in Hong Kong you must eat dim sum. So we decided to fulfill our craving at Lei Garden, a one star Michelin dim sum restaurant.
Only a few minutes walk from our hotel, Lei Garden was conveniently located and easily found in the IFC mall.
A platter of shrimp rice noodle roll, filled with large shrimps.
Succulently tender braised chicken feet.
The piece de resistance of the meal was the crispy roasted pork. This pork was amazing, the meat was juicy and tender while the skin was crisped to perfection. Bring out the whole pig and ill eat it up!
Excellent shrimp dumplings and shumai
Skip the steam bamboo buns, a real letdown.
The radish cakes were also quite plain, nothing too amazing.
Lei Garden, like all restaurants, have some amazing dishes and some mediocre ones as well. But I would go back just for the crispy roasted pork.
